Job Description 

 

Job Purpose:   

 

The Warehouse team is the superglue between our Operations and Sales team. The Logistics Coordinator role at Busch Systems is to support operations and the sales team and help our customers by enthusiastically occupying the front lines moving freight.   

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountability: 

 

  • Email/Phone Inquiries 

  • Role Center Monitoring 

  • Shipping from Manufacturers to Customers 

  • Problem Freight invoices 

  • Entering of sample shipments 

  • Ensure rush orders and in-hand dates are shipped out accordingly 

  • Prepare customs documentation 

  • Prepare bill of ladings (BOL’s) 

  • Prepare freight PO’s 

  • Maintain positive relationship with Carriers 

  • Work with mods and warehouse to answer ongoing questions from sales 

  • Answer questions within the Office to help with freight quote 

  • Oversee Shipments out of Barrie (UPS & LTL) 

  • Work with Carriers to find best rates available  

  • Ship and record the movement of Products to and from Establishments 

  • Prepare Commercial Invoices 

  • Overseas Shipments/Documentation and Sealing 

  • Contact Carrier Representatives to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery of product 

  • Schedule and perform follow-up calls for active quotes 

  • Organization and planning of incoming and outgoing shipments daily 

  • Preparation of Export shipments and Documentation 

  • Work in conjunction with other warehouse to move freight and back up if necessary  

  • Other duties as assigned.
